Advancing Research: Creating Vibrant and Enabling Research Architecture for Rapid Technology Development and Deployment
11th September 2025, 12:00 pm -1.00pm
India stands at a pivotal moment in its journey toward becoming a global innovation powerhouse. With a rich pool of scientific talent, a growing startup ecosystem, and increasing government focus on R&D, the potential is immense. However, the Indian research ecosystem continues to face structural and operational challenges that hinder the pace and impact of technology development and deployment. To unlock India's full potential, there is a pressing need to create a vibrant and enabling research architecture that fosters innovation, accelerates technology transfer, and ensures societal relevance.
This panel will delve into strategies for strengthening India’s research ecosystem. The discussion will focus on identifying systemic bottlenecks, exploring successful global models, and proposing actionable reforms to build a robust architecture for rapid technological development and deployment.

Advancing New Energy: Creating vibrant and enabling infrastructure for rapid Green Hydrogen technology development and deployment for Clean Energy Transition
12th September 2025, 12:00 pm -1.00pm
India has already taken rapid strides to lead a vibrant and enabling infrastructure that supports rapid development, testing, and deployment of clean energy technologies, especially Hydrogen and waste to energy. The 1st tranche of Pilot scale 1MW – 10MW projects on green hydrogen have already hit the ground, while regulators are fast placing, he framework of compliance and certification. However, three challenges remain of high cost, low temperature storage and workforce skilling.
The panel will deliberate on the pathways for collaborating and integrating the roles of industry, research institutions, startups, and government in creating a cohesive ecosystem that accelerates innovation and ensures equitable energy access to build a vibrant and enabling clean energy infrastructure.
